Free surreal micro game

Bizzarioware is a collection of psychedelic, strange, and surreal microgames played in 15-second intervals. Since this is a living-content program, The Strangest will support it for as long as they think the community will be active or until they find a better platform for the game.

Updates to Bizzarioware will continue to be available, but Patreon backers will have first access. You can select whether a game is multiplayer, compatible with controllers, or only operates with PC controls. You'll also be able to use tutorials to boost your scores in each microgame.

Who developed Bizzarioware?

Biazzarioware is a free series of WarioWare-style microgames developed by The Strangest. It's still in its infancy, as shown by half-finished menus, a shrill announcer, and a slew of mini games of widely different cohesiveness. If you want to give this a shot, you'll need a gamepad because it seems to be oriented toward competitive action, with several games being scored instead of simple winning and losing.

When you play Bizarrioware, you get the same sensation as when you play Wario Ware for the first time. There's an optional tutorial mode that walks you through each microgame so you know what to do. It's perplexing and overly complicated, and you're likely to win by mashing buttons anyway, which makes for a fun multiplayer experience.

From manic button-mashing to transforming old men into cats to attempting to fit eldritch symbols to summon an elder god, the games are an imaginative and otherworldly set. The most perplexing is a bomb disposal task that only gives you a few seconds to figure out controls that require you to hold down various combinations of unlisted buttons and match wires to Xbox controller button colors. Difficult, to say the least.

Try for a fun and trippy experience

Bizzarioware is your one-stop shop for wasting time in a fast-paced, hyper-cosmic world of micro design. There's a lot to be impressed by in this game, but none more so than the menus. They put in a lot of effort to offer the experience and make Bizzarioware appear like a strange game from the past.
