Free psychedelic micro game platform

Bizzarioware is a series of trippy, weird, and dreamlike microgames that are played in intervals of 15 seconds. You can choose whether a game is multiplayer, controller friendly, or only works with PC keyboards. You may also use tutorials to improve your scores in each microgame.

Since this is a living-content game, The Strangest will update it for as long as users actively use it or until a greater platform for the project is established. For now, Bizzarioware updates will continue to be available, but Patreon supporters will have first access.

What is Bizzarioware?

Bizarrioware is a free compilation of microgames inspired by WarioWare. When you play Bizarrioware for the first time, it seems like you're playing WarioWare for the first time. It's still in its early stages, as shown by half-completed menus, a hysteric narrator, and a slew of mini games of varying degrees of cohesion. If you'd like to try it, it’s best to use a game controller.

The reason is it appears to be geared toward a higher level of competition, with several games being scored rather than only winning and losing. A tutorial mode is available, which guides you through each microgame so you know what to do. It's bewildering and unnecessarily complex, and you're more than likely to win by mashing keys.

The games are innovative and otherworldly, ranging from manic button-mashing, converting elderly men into cats, to attempting to match eldritch symbols to summon an elder god. The most perplexing task is a bomb disposal task that allows you just a few seconds to work out controls that enable you to keep down different combinations of unlisted keys and match wires to Xbox controller button colors. It's challenging.

A true outsider game

In the fast-paced, hyper-cosmic world of micro design, Bizzarioware is your one-stop-shop for wasting time. There's a lot to like about this game, but the menus are particularly impressive. They put in a lot of work to make Bizzarioware seem to be a weird Japanese party game from the past.
